Hire Ground is a new, down-to-earth approach to recruitment for creative roles. Founder, Nick Berman, has over 10 years experience in recruiting. He made the decision to venture out on his own to ensure that the work he does can offer true career guidance, honest connections and long-term support. I was engaged to come on board for naming, branding, copy, digital and social.

The resulting brand identity, from name to tote-bag mock, is one that strikes a balance between the professional and the personal.

The typography is friendly and personable, but holds professional strength in its retro corporate roots. The colour palette draws quite literally from the sky and the ground, both reaching for the stars and achieving goals while staying down-to-earth. And the brand tone-of-voice acknowledges the importance of work-life balance, good people, and open communication.

The brand's social media presence is designed to focus on job postings and key brand messages. The social media templates lean into tried and true job classifieds, with a fresh take. Posting creative job ads for creative people for Hire Ground needed to be engaging and approachable.

The Hire Ground H-device present throughout applications of the brand allow the seemingly opposing elements, personal and professional, work and life, sky and ground, to sit together in harmony. It shifts and moves with content, and is built to adapt to it's environment.
